The Buster Mathis Inc. is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization that creates awareness against bullying; a serious social and health issue of harassment, intimidation and violence in our communities. Through the Bully Buster Preventative Program, we help teach young children (K-5) priceless principles, ethics and values that build courage, self-esteem and consideration for others to make a difference in the world!

The Bully Buster Preventative Program

The Bully Buster Preventative Program is a fun, educational, effective and thought provoking way to introduce and deal with bullying; a serious social and health issue of harassment, intimidation and violence in our communities. The curriculum is designed for schools or organizations and will help empower children, condition their hearts and minds against violence at an early stage through age appropriate activities and assignments students can take home to share!

Athlete’s Against Bullying Initiative (AABI)

There is no doubt that sporting activities foster character, discipline and creates a sense of pride. Buster Mathis Inc. partners with sports teams and organizations to help children understand how special they are and how they can be a role model in their community against bullying. By collaborating with athletes to inspire children Buster Mathis Inc. will educate and bring awareness of the effects of bullying to communities nationwide.

The Soul of the City

The Buster Mathis Inc. operates and connects West Michigan to the only, City of Grand Rapids African American Music Festival. The Soul of the City is co-sponsored by the City of Grand Rapids and offers a cultural arts and entertainment weekend of free outdoor concerts; featuring local and headlining national artists performing, R&B, Jazz, Neyo Soul, Hip Hop, Gospel, a SOC Championship Cook-off and a Health & Wellness fair! All proceeds from this event assist the Buster Mathis Inc in providing and promoting non-violence and anti-bullying education to children in schools across the country.
