About Us

The United States Olympic Committee is a non-profit organization responsible for assembling Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Parapan American athletes to compete amongst the best in the world. To aid these athletes in their quest for gold the USOC has three Olympic Training Centers scattered across the country in Colorado, California & New York. The USOC is also responsible for aiding in the development of the funds, technology and nutrition necessary as well as supporting 45 National Governing Bodies with grass root efforts related to individual and team sport.

Our philosophy of Olympism encourages us to combine culture and education with a view to promote peace, understanding, dignity, fair-play and respect for others. The mission of the USOC is to support United States Olympic and Paralympic athletes in achieving sustained competitive excellence and preserve the Olympic ideals, and thereby inspire all Americans.
