The West Medford Community Center has been more than just a community center for nearly 90 years. It's been a place where people of all ages come together to belong, learn from one another, make new friends, and experience community leading to civic, social, cultural, health & recreational well-being. It's been the glue that strengthens the bonds of our community through yearly events such as First Fridays Words & Music, After School Youth Club, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Celebration, Legislative Breakfast Forum, Juneteenth, Summer Youth Basketball, Hoops & Hope, and more. Year round WMCC provides seniors healthy living programs, community arts & culture programs, youth development opportunities, champions diverse groups of entrepreneurs, develops and trains a diverse workforce, and retains the rich history of the African American in Medford.
