Manship Artists Residency
Mission
The mission of the Manship Artists Residency is to provide artists with the time and space to flourish. Founded in 2015, this nonprofit was established at the Cape Ann estate of the late sculptor Paul Manship, renowned for his Prometheus Fountain at Rockefeller Center—one of America’s most iconic public monuments.
About Us
Since launching its residency program in May 2019, Manship Artists Residency has transformed this historic quarry-side site into a vibrant space for creativity, hosting regional, national, and international interdisciplinary artists. For artists whose practice includes public engagement, Manship provides independent and collaborative programming opportunities, fostering meaningful connections with arts and cultural organizations.
