    About Us

    Bayard Taylor Elementary School (also known as Taylor School) is a public Title 1 K-5 school that serves about 530 students in the Hunting Park/North Philly area. We pride ourselves in being bilingual as 25% of our students are English-Language Learners, and so we draw strengths from the various cultures our staff and students represent. Furthermore, 10% of our students are in Special Education. We recently won an award from the school district of Philadelphia for "3 years of SPR growth."
