Bright Light

Bright Light is a NYC-based nonprofit making it easier for busy New Yorkers to give back through flexible volunteer opportunities outside the traditional workday. Through both on-site volunteering with local nonprofit partners and Bright Light–hosted community events, we bring people together to create tangible impact across the city. Our mission is to make giving back more accessible, social, and part of everyday life.

We support homeless shelters, food pantries, settlement houses, and social service agencies across New York City through both on-site volunteering and Bright Light–hosted community events. Whether volunteers are serving directly with nonprofit partners, assembling care kits, making sandwiches, organizing back-to-school drives, or supporting seasonal donation efforts, every event is designed to create tangible impact while bringing people together in meaningful ways.
