One Community Tilbury

One Community Development Trust is a locally grown initiative, created by community groups, voluntary groups and Tilbury and Chadwell residents, for the benefit of local people across southern Thurrock in particular. Lots of change and regeneration are planned for this area.

We work collaboratively with local communities and organisations to create a more connected and resilient society where everyone, regardless of their background or challenges, has the chance to thrive. We inspire and support local people to work actively together, to make their local community a place they are proud to live and work during their lifetime.

One Community brings local people from Tilbury and southern Thurrock together to release their full potential through residents sharing their diverse backgrounds, experience, skills, and talents to create social and economic well-being for all in the community. We do this through facilitating volunteering, peer mentoring, job opportunities, skills and career development, financial inclusion and literacy, access to accredited training, life coaching and space to carry out partnership work.
