Community Innovations Foundation helps underserved communities turn AI into lasting economic and personal advantage. We make practical AI skills accessible to the small business owners, students, and working professionals who are too often left out of the technology economy.

Community Innovations Foundation (CIF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Orange County, California. We believe the people who stand to gain the most from AI are frequently the last to get access to it, and we exist to close that gap.

Our programs are hands-on and participatory, because real confidence with these tools comes from doing the work, not watching someone else do it. Our efforts span three areas:

• Community workshops that teach small business owners and working professionals how to use AI for everyday needs like lead generation, marketing, and operations. Participants leave with a prompt library and resources they can keep using on their own.
• Student programs that give K-12 youth practical experience with AI, app development, and career readiness through cohort-based learning, in partnership with local schools and community organizations.
• Community events like hackathons that bring people together to build, learn, and connect.

Our values are straightforward: access, practicality, and lasting impact. We keep our programs free and approachable, meet people where they are, and focus on skills that create real opportunity long after a session ends. We serve underserved and underrepresented communities first, with the goal of making the benefits of new technology something everyone can reach.
