    BACKGROUND

    The Josephine Nana Adwoa Asmah

    Foundation & Empowerment Center

    was established as a Christian NGO

    in loving memory of Josephine Nana Adwoa

    Asmah. Josephine embodied a value-driven

    life of leadership, academic excellence, and

    compassion. Her untimely passing in a car

    accident on December 16, 2024, left a legacy that

    the Foundation seeks to honor.

    Josephine’s achievements at the Kwame

    Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

    (KNUST), her impactful roles with the Petroleum

    Commission, Tullow Ghana, and Guinness

    Ghana, and her devotion as a church leader

    and menstrual hygiene advocates inspire the

    MISSION

    To empower young women through

    education, mentorship, and skills

    development rooted in strong values,

    while advocating for road safety, menstrual

    hygiene, and spiritual upliftment within

    underserved communities.

    A society where young women rise

    as empowered leaders, driven by

    character and vision, to transform their

    communities and exemplify compassion

    and ethical leadership.

    • Empower at least 50 young women

    annually with confidence, character,

    and leadership skills.

    • Promote spiritual and ethical values
