CASA of Josephine County
Mission
The mission of CASA of Jackson and Josephine Counties is to provide specially trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes.
About Us
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) screens and trains every day people to become extraordinary advocates for abused and/or neglected children in Josephine County, OR. Each child who is the victim of abuse or neglect deserves to have their voice heard in court and beyond and to have one un-paid person by their side for the duration of their case. A child who has a CASA is less likely to slip through the cracks of an overburdened system and to suffer re-abuse. It only takes 5-10 hours a month to help a child who is waiting.
