Who we are:

Student Driven Solutions is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides financial literacy and business training to girls in secondary school and school dropouts alongside a social justice curriculum.

Our vision:

Malawian girls aged 15-25 (secondary school dropouts, continuing students and alumni) are financially literate and independent; and become agents of change in the community.

What we do:

We provide free weekly personal finance and business management lessons to girls ages 15-25. We support our student’s development as young leaders throughout the program through our mentorship program and partnership with local theater groups and inspirational guest speakers. At graduation students submit business plans and we award loans to teams in order to start businesses. As alumni, our girls continue to be supported by SDS either through network development, professional guidance, or simply just to talk.
