The Carlsbad Department of Development actively works to retain and grow local businesses, recruit new ones, and expand economic opportunities for all our residents.
The communities of Carlsbad and South Eddy County are committed to economic development, growth, and sustainability. We understand that communities rarely grow by accident. Instead, it takes a group of committed residents to create a plan and see it through to completion. This is exactly what has happened in Carlsbad and much of the economic growth we see today is the result of seeds that were planted decades ago.
