International Service Ireland (ISI) is an international development agency that works to combat poverty and oppression among marginal groups with a particular focus on people with disabilities. We do this by strengthening disabled people’s organisations and by increasing awareness and understanding in Ireland of critical development issues. Established in Ireland in 2002, International Service Ireland is one of the only Irish organisations that work with people with disabilities in developing countries. We share our expertise with local partners and provide seed capital to their members to help communities build their own solutions to alleviate poverty. We work hand in hand with our UK and five field offices who have been active in development since 1953.
