  • About Us

Since 2019, Little Bottoms Free Store has served our mission to foster a safe, nurturing environment while providing essential baby supplies to disadvantaged Franklin County Ohio families with children aged 3 and under. Our free store, located in Franklinton on the westside of Columbus, is open every Thursday evening to any Columbus family in need. We provide weekly diapers, wipes, baby clothes, books, coats, baby gear, and other supplies to thousands of low-income families of babies and toddlers ages three and under at no cost. Little Bottoms Free Store was birthed out of a desire to support our most at-risk families and babies on the Westside of Columbus, addressing the social determinants of health that disproportionately impact our families and lead to elevated infant mortality rates in our neighborhoods. We work to address infant and maternal health inequities through provision of safe sleep trainings and materials, building supportive community, and providing access to community resources. In addition to providing basic needs, Little Bottoms is creating a community where families can have a safe place to build friendships and a network of support, discovering community resources and agencies that can empower their ability to thrive, keep their children safe, provide for their families, in order to eventually become self-sufficient.
