CANCER SUPPORT TEAM INC

Founded in 1978, CST is a nonprofit home-care program licensed by the New York State Department of Health that provides professional nursing education and support, counseling, case management, transportation and financial assistance, and other cancer-related services to oncology patients and their families residing in southern Westchester County, New York. Our overarching mission is to reduce healthcare disparities and increase access to essential healthcare services for those impacted by cancer. CST provides in-home services to those with cancer and their family members at any stage of the disease, at no cost and without regard to insurance coverage. CST’s clinical staff of registered nurses, a licensed oncology social worker, and two case managers make in-home, in-hospital, and community visits or consult with patients by telemedicine or at the CST office. In 2022, our nurses, case managers, and social worker helped 1,223 cancer patients, their families, and loved ones improve their knowledge about the diagnosis and community resources.
