Helping Paws therapy dogs teams work in a wide variety of healthcare facilities, including hospice, home health, nursing & rehab facilities, special needs camps, women & child support centers, etc

Helping Paws' B.A.R.K.S ®/™ (Bonding Animals, Reading, Kids, & Safety) is a fun & inspiring, all inclusive dog-based, literacy curriculum for children and adults of all skill levels including autism & brain injuries. B.A.R.K.S., the 2nd oldest dog reading program in the country, provides a safe haven from peer pressure, reading fun, help with inter-personal communication skills. Children in B.A.R.K.S. increase their reading scores, improve in other courses & class interactions, while also learning pet safety & the humane & ethical treatment of pets and animals
