Water Defense

Water Defense is a new organization dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of fracking and other forms of extreme energy, and building a national movement for the renewable energy economy.

Our programming consists of grassroots and online organizing, traditional and online media work, distributed events, and days of action. We recently launched an online video series tackling the myths on natural gas, and now we're building a grassroots network in targeted areas across the country. We’re also engaged in responding to several evolving stories in the news cycle, and working to ensure that our frames inform how these hotly-discussed issues are reported and retold.
