  • About Us

Wastewater Alternatives and Innovations is working to reduce wastewater pollution in Hawaii by converting cesspools to more sustainable alternatives. There are 88,000 cesspools in Hawaii dumping 53 million gallons a day of sewage into Hawaiian waters, harming people and coral reefs. We love the ocean and the natural beauty of Hawaii and want to preserve it for future generations. We work closely with state and local government, technology partners and local communities to find effective solutions.
