  • Mission

Healing Hands Horsemanship, Inc. welcomes participants into the horse care and riding activities as a courtesy for tax-deductible donations received in support of the horse rescue and rehabilitation. One of the rewards for your donation is the horse care and riding program. Lessons in horsemanship are offered as a gift for membership donations, during hands-on instruction from the professional horse training team! Healing Hands Horsemanship is a non-profit horse and pony rescue and rehabilitation program, offering a donation-tier to members of all ages and abilities who would like to participate in the lessons program. Progressional learning of the horse starts from the ground and works up into the saddle. Qualifying families may take the horse that they have trained, if available for adoption.

    About Us

Healing Hands Horsemanship, Inc was founded in 2009 by Gina Marie Hery; inviting participants as students of the Horse Care and Horse Training program, by creating a donation tier for participants to support the rescue efforts and receive scheduled lessons, with the horses and ponies.

Healing Hands Horsemanship lesson plans cover ten levels, designed to fit the individual needs of our students to become excellent horse owners, riders and handlers. Healing Hands Horsemanship training program offers a wide range of benefits, such as self-esteem and confidence building, motor-skill and sensory awareness, cognitive practices, interpersonal and team-building skills, physical strengthening, and more through equine-assisted learning. Horse Care and Horse Training lessons include information about horse anatomy, first-aid, groundwork, horse language, horse nutrition, horseback riding and horse training. Healing Hands Horsemanship is comprised of the healing assistance of our specially selected rescue horses and generous volunteer staff.
