We connect people, resources and ideas to solve the challenges that prevent our students from learning and thriving. We remove obstacles associated with inequity, partner with community organizations to strengthen programs, provide learning opportunities, award scholarships, and support teachers. While students in need are a primary focus of DEF, our initiatives impact every student at some point in the school year. We help ALL Decatur kids reach their full potential.
