  • About Us

The Compass Project mission is to use boatbuilding and rowing to provide positive direction to youth by encouraging the development of personal and community responsibility.

We use boatbuilding and rowing to capture the interest of hard-to-reach youth who are struggling with school or are in danger of dropping out. We help participants develop more positive self-concepts and attitudes about themselves, learning and work.
