LIVESTRONG Foundation

The LIVESTRONG Foundation was created in 1997 to provide a voice for the growing population of cancer survivors and address their unique needs and concerns.  Through 20 years of listening to and serving more than 4 million survivors throughout their cancer journeys, we have developed a unique approach (by listening to survivors and acting upon what we heard) that helps radically improve the cancer experience.  We quickly identify the common problems individuals with cancer face and provide personalized real-time help while building engaged communities of survivors that help create and deliver community solutions, and driving system change toward a more proactive approach to cancer.  With cancer survivorship expected to increase more than 35% over the next decade, the need for LIVESTRONG is greater now more than ever.
