Pennsylvania Campus Compact
The Pennsylvania Campus Compact (PACC) was founded in 1988. PACC is a member organization whose signers are college and university presidents. Its mission is to strengthen communities through campus-community partnerships and promote education for informed civic engagement. Member services include convening conferences, workshops, and meetings for constituent groups such as faculty, community service or service-learning directors, students, chief academic and executive officers, and presidents. In addition to offering resources for service-learning development, PACC staff assist campuses in capacity and community development. PACC sponsors a VISTA program which integrates and enhances civic participation and service-learning between campuses and their respective communities.
