Who We Are

Hope for Orphans Rescue Centre (HOREC) is a non-for -profit Charitable Children’s Organization that has been operating for 19 years starting from

HOREC is a model that offers urgent critical care and support to Vulnerable children in Kenya, with a strong bias on Children who fall through the cracks of the current existing Government led HIV/AIDS programs.

Through the various actors in the community, HOREC identifies vulnerable children who are in need of urgent care and support whereby we rescue the children; we offer them care and support, and eventually reintegrated back into their communities where they can hopefully thrive again.

HOREC also supports the creation strong resilient families through various interventions, thereby creating families who are able to absorb the various shocks and stresses brought about by vulnerability, disease and poverty as they strive to care and raise their children.

As a memberof the community, HOREC is very vocal in creatingawareness where we try to dispel misinformationwithin the community and provide much neededinformation on sexual reproductive health and HIV/Aids.
