  • About Us

Commerce Kids is a nonprofit, parent-run child care center that empowers our students with the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills to ensure they reach their fullest potential as we learn, play and grow together. Our child development center was last re-accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2013, and is located in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. We are just steps from the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, the White House, and our own secure, private playground. Our Center family loves calling all of downtown Washington — and its exciting and educational opportunities — our neighborhood.

Commerce Kids serves approximately 70 children of ages 12 weeks through 5 years, in a full-day, 12-month program with approximately 20 employees.
