About Us

The world leader in Alzheimer's research and support, the Alzheimer's Association is committed to eliminating Alzheimer's disease by advancing research and to enhancing care and support for individuals, their families and caregivers.

At the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, we offer services and programs to those who have Alzheimer's, their family members, caregivers and to professionals. These programs include a 24/7 Helpline, Safe Return program, over 170 support groups, family care coordinator, professional education programs and advocacy.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's (previously Memory Walk) is the Alzheimer's Association's national signature event to help those battling Alzheimer's disease. Since 1989, WTEA has raised more than $175 million and is the largest national fundraising event for Alzheimer's disease.

WTEA takes place in more than 600 communitiese nationwide; most events are held in September and October. Millions of men, women and children will participate as walkers, volunteers and sponsors this year!
