Charity and Security Network

The Charity & Security Network is a resource center for nonprofit organizations to promote and protect their ability to carry out effective programs that promote peace and human rights, aid civilians in areas of disaster and armed conflict and build democratic governance. To accomplish this, the Network focuses on:

·        Convening stakeholders and sponsoring dialog;

·        Raising awareness, dispelling myths and promoting legal frameworks based on protecting the positive contribution civil society makes to human security;

·        Coordinating advocacy by the nonprofit sector to support national security rules that respect the work of legitimate civil society organizations.
