About Us

In the 2020 primary elections, thousands of voters had to wait hours to cast a ballot. Many voters who requested absentee ballots didn't get them. Voters in Kentucky were locked out of a polling place and had to bang on the doors to convince officials to let them in to vote. In the past few election cycles, we've seen similar situations occur more and more frequently across the country, and we're going to see it in November 2020 if we don't assist voters to ensure they can cast a ballot in a safe, secure and convenient way. 

Due to policy and law changes, budget cuts, and politics, the right to vote is not guaranteed - it is instead becoming more difficult with new hurdles being added every year. United for Democracy is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that supports the voting process across the country - from registration to casting a ballot, and everything in between.
