About Us

The mission of the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center is to support the work of Norris Cotton Cancer Center by raising funds for cancer research and patient services, increasing awareness for this world-class comprehensive cancer center, and acting as ambassadors between the Cancer Center and the communities it serves.

Norris Cotton Cancer Center is a world-renowned cancer treatment and research facility affiliated with Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Volunteers raise money, produce events, facilitate community outreach and support patient services in an effort to find a cure for cancer.

The Friends began in 1982. Since then, more than $11.4 million has been raised to support cancer research and patient services at Norris Cotton Cancer Center. This money helps fund world-class research, state-of-the-art equipment, critical education programs and innovative clinical trials that affect patient treatment all over the world. The Friends also supports patient services programs, helping to ease the way for patients and their families as they move through the difficult path of cancer treatment.
