Seward House Museum
A dynamic historic house museum interpreting the lives of William Henry Seward and his immediate family. Seward had a lengthy political career that included acting as Secretary of State for Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. He and his family were poised at the center of 19th century politics and society and made contrabution to political and social movements that helped secure the rights we enjoy today. Our mission is to interpret the family's democratic values and accomplishments ,and engaging diverse audiences in connecting the past to the present.
