About Us

United Vision is a non-governmental organization. Its aim is to fight poverty, provide and spread enlightment about the situation in developing world and promote volunteering.

United Vision primarilly sends well-trained volunteers to developing countries of (in the first stage - Mexico) who teach (free of charge) English using highly effective method. The help is aimed at rural areas with some tourist potential. The intent is that local people could make use of the knowledge of English at labour-market or they could start off their own business activities connected with (eco)tourism.

In the next stage of the project other types of help are planned to be complemented to the local developing support - microfinances, fairtrade, setting up an e-shop with interesting products from local people, help with promotion and development of local ecoturistic activities, looking for sponsors for education of children (so called „adoption at a distance").

The aim of the UV project is to offer the most complex developing support possible not only to particular families (parent and child support), but also to the whole community in a certain area. Giving English classes is the corner-stone of the cooperation.

Follow-up supportive programs and projects (microfinances, fairtrade, e-shop, ecotourism, adoption at a distance) will be being developed only if the local people learn English with UV volunteers, show long-lasting interest, hard work and proactive attitude.
