City of Refuge Sacramento

City of Refuge Sacramento is intentionally located in the heart of Oak Park, a community known for decades because of crime, violence, poverty, and lack of resources. Despite the overwhelming social challenges, numbers, and need, City of Refuge finds hope every day in this neighborhood. It is with this in mind that we envision a New Story told of our community: places of refuge for those in crisis and on the margins, lives and families restored, jobs and workforce developed in and for this community, and this neighborhood transformed by those who call this community their home.
