About Us

Bay Worms is a community nonprofit dedicated to waste reduction and soil replenishment. To date, we have diverted 50 tons of waste from local landfills by converting it into rich compost. Using vermicomposting methods, Bay Worms provides organic compost, worm castings and earthworms to local businesses and residents as an alternative to synthetic products. In fact, we regularly test our products at the University of Massachusetts Soil Test Lab to ensure the highest quality soil amendments.

IT IS OUR MISSION TO:

1. Divert food and organic waste from our landfills. 2. Educate and benefit the public by promoting and implementing vermiculture technology 3. Create high quality soil amendments or fertilizer in the form of worm castings as an alternative to commercially produced synthetic products.
