Art in Suburbia

Art in Suburbia is a nonprofit organization serving suburban communities in Mssachusetts with art, dialogue, and multicultural education. Art in Suburbia’s objectives are to provide an outlet for artistic and creative expression and exploration, to foster community engagement, and promote social change for coexistence and sustainability. Art in Suburbia’s programs center on themed exhibitions from local artists with narrative that inspire altruism and understanding, invoke dialogue and awareness.

Art in Suburbia is a direct response to the lack of art institutions in suburban neighborhoods. The purpose of its central program is for local artists to present their artwork as connectors, bringing communities and individuals together as a peace-keeping and peace-building effort.
