Centro Guadalupano is an education and human services nonprofit providing resources to the Phillips community of Minneapolis. Since 2000, we have worked as partners with immigrant families and disadvantaged residents, providing a range of free programming designed to address both immediate and long-term needs. Teaming with numerous charitable organizations in providing our many services, Centro represents a trusted and effective resource for people in search of dignity, hope, and self-sufficiency.
Our specific services include:
Outreach: food shelf, housewares, clothing, seasonal gifts, soup kitchen
Health Services: Zumba classes
Adult Education: ESL classes, Digital Literacy classes, and a sewing circle for women.
Youth Programming: An after school program for neighborhood youth, with reading and math support, music and dance lessons, summer camp, and help for parents in navigating the American school system
