    About Us

    We are a non-profit animal humane society serving Chisago County and surrounding communities since 1970. Last year we adopted over 1,000 animals & helped many others be returned to their owners. Northwoods is a limited admissions facility and we do not put a limit on any animal's stay at our facility; we are dedicated to finding them each a new home. Every animal is spayed/neutered before being made available for adoption.
