AT MICHAEL'S HOUSE, we are passionate about our mission to promote the well-being of the destitute and isolated elderly in developing countries. These elders have fallen through the cracks and receive absolutely no financial assistance from existing international aid organizations. We fervently believe that it is only through a collaborative effort of working together as a caring community that we can use our resources, our compassion, and our presence to the greatest outcome. It's empowerment at its best. Please join us! We are a diverse group of compassionate people, who meet monthly to collaborate about such issues as: grant writing and research; fundraising; recruiting volunteers; public relations campaigns; and effective use of social media. Discussions also target ways in which we, both individually and as a grass roots team, should use our talents, personal contacts, and business networks to raise public awareness and much needed funds. We welcome new members, with fresh ideas and special talents, who will help us continue our support of the destitute and isolated elderly in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Thailand.
