    Who we serve

    Our students come from some of the most challenged neighborhoods in Columbus. Here are our students’ demographics, on average, across the three schools within USN:

    • 81% are student of color
    • 90% are economically disadvantaged
    • 15% qualify for special education services
    • 2% are English Language Learners

    Our Schools

    United Schools Network is a nonprofit charter management organization operating high-performing, nonprofit charter schools in Columbus, OH. We currently have two middle schools and two elementary schools.

    • Columbus Collegiate Academy-Main St. (CCA-Main St.), serving 240 students in grades 6-8 on the Near East side of Columbus
    • Columbus Collegiate Academy-Dana Ave. (CCA-Dana Ave.), serving 240 students in grades 6-8 in West Franklinton
    • United Preparatory Academy-State St. (UPrep-State St.), serving 150 students in grades K-2 this year in Franklinton, growing to serve 360 students in grades K-5 by 2020
    • United Preparatory Academy-Main St. (UPrep-Main St), serves 50 kindergarten students on the Near East side, growing to serve 360 students in grades K-5 by 2021.
