    About Us

Welcome to volunteering with Hunger at Home! We are thrilled that you’ve chosen to work with us helping to feed people in our community. Volunteers are a vital part of our operation. We couldn't do what we do without the committed and hardworking volunteers who provide us with the gift of their time and skills. We accomplish so much more when we come together! Simply put, people helping people. We are glad and proud to have you on our team! We hope you find volunteering with us a rewarding and positive experience.

    Our Mission:

Hunger at Home delivers leading edge solutions that build food security and self-sufficiency for a healthier and more equitable Silicon Valley.

    Our True North:

To feed as many food-insecure people as we can.

    What We Do:

Hunger at Home is committed to reducing hunger in our community by providing equitable access to healthy and nutritious food. We achieve this through our food distribution programs that directly serve individuals, households, and our nonprofit partner organizations in the area. Our comprehensive approach includes rescuing and recovering food, keeping it out of landfills, and purchasing food from local sources to provide our clients with a balanced and nutritional selection of products.
