    The Waterpod, founded by artist Mary Mattingly, is a public floating living sculpture traversing the NY Waterways during the Summer/Fall of 2009, with 4 artists/curators living on board in a self-sustaining system, using gardens, rainwater catchment, greywater filtration, solar energy, appropriate technology. The Waterpod is also open to the public and holds sustainability lectures and art events.
