Catharsis Productions' mission is to change the world by producing innovative, accessible and research-supported programming that challenges oppressive attitudes and shifts behavior.
We educate audiences on challenging social issues in unexpected ways. Our programs encourage genuine dialogue, using humor, audience interaction and dynamic theatrical media to overcome the traditional defensiveness and preconceptions about these issues. We look to engage audiences in tough conversations about interpersonal violence, in particular on the topics of sexual assault, harassment and oppression. In 2014, Catharsis Productions delivered over 2000 live presentations. Our award-winning sexual assault prevention program, "Sex Signals," has been presented at 1200 colleges and universities as well as 300 military installations around the world. Currently, the program is presented at Basic Training for all incoming Soldiers to the United States Army.
Catharsis Productions also offers dynamic, live interactive programming as well as keynotes, consulting, and training surrounding interpersonal violence working primarily with universities and military installations. Visit our website at www.catharsisproductions.com.
