Maternal & Infant Health Consulting (M&IHC)

Maternal & Infant Health Consulting is a women-owned social justice consulting firm. Our mission is to bridge the gap between global health research and implementation by using the most current and accurate data available to make decisions that efficiently and effectively improve global public health outcomes. To achieve that mission, we focus our work on research, facilitation, and communications in the areas of reproductive health, nutrition, community health, and digital health. 

M&IHC was founded in January of 2014 to improve global public health outcomes by conducting research, facilitating collaborations, and integrating research into the design and implementation of evidence-based programs. Due to increased demand, in 2016, we expanded into a Hub of Global Health Independent Contractors that M&IHC’s Director matches with assignments based on their diverse skill set. Our Hub of Contractors engage in short-, medium-, and long-term projects.

We ground all of our projects in our core values which include integrity, excellence, resilience, and efficiency to ensure we produce the highest quality work. M&IHC’s Hub of Global Health Independent Contractors are trusted by a diverse array of clients, including Population Services International (PSI) and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF).

For over 6 years, M&IHC has consistently been based in Salt Lake City, Utah. M&IHC has worked in over 20 countries, which includes: Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Germany, Guatemala, Guinea, India, Kenya, Laos, Liberia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Tanzania, Uganda, and the United States. Our Independent Contractors are located in multiple countries and regions. We collaborate on projects both remotely and in-person. Due to COVID-19, all of our work is currently being done remotely.
