Lima Links is a young Zambian Social Enterprise which was set up in August 2016 to connect smallholder farmers to the wider agricultural marketplace via technology platforms. The foundation of our business model is based on a set of findings from a pilot study conducted under the global NGO International Development Enterprises (iDE) Zambia which ran for a period of six (6) months in 2015.
Lima Links Limited is now a for-profit social enterprise that provides technology solutions to a variety of market actors in the Zambian agriculture sector. Lima Links' focus is on building ICT tools to facilitate agribusiness in Zambia and above all, drive live markets on ICT platforms. Our main product is a farmer platform where farmers can access live market prices, market info on inputs, connections to buyers, and more - all for free on a basic phone.
