Octavia Hill Association (OHA) is an affordable housing provider which owns and manages over 450 units of low and moderate income apartments and townhouses throughout the City of Philadelphia. Total low and moderate income tenants occupying OHA units exceed 900 adults and children. Founded in 1896, OHA is one of the oldest affordable housing providers in continuous existence in the Nation. Our portfolio includes over 180 units financed with Low Income Housing tax credits and other below market debt. Through our affiliation with Community Ventures, a 501 C(3) manager and developer, we also provide tenants with social services including counseling on access to public benefits and health resources. OHA tax credit financed units have a set aside for mobility impaired residents. We also house families referred by Families in Transition, a social service agency that places young single women with infants and very young children.
