Ohana

Ohana is a birth and parenting services company whose vision is to help new parents “find their village” and welcome their baby with joy and confidence. The word ohana means family in Hawaiian, and refers to one’s inner circle of both family and close friends.

Ohana’s services include: • Childbirth classes, specifically designed to answer the questions most important to expecting parents and to facilitate conversation and connection among other parents at the same stage of pregnancy • Doulas, who are birthing assistants hired directly by couples to provide personalized informational and emotional support during pregnancy and labor • Breastfeeding counseling • Concierge services, including consultations about choosing an obstetrician, midwife, or doula; diet planning during pregnancy; and breastfeeding counseling • Mom&Baby / Dad&Baby social groups, where new parents can meet others at the same stage of parenting as they are
