Alterbike / Doctor Bike

Alterbike is a social business where we democratize and promote the culture of the bicycle integration into de urban mobility formula. Since 2010 we design and produce Mexican bicycles and sports products. We believe that the bicycle needs to be included as an equally important transportation method in small and big cities. We produce smart, simple, urban cities, for smart and engaged people not only with our national economy, but as well with their own health, and the environment.

Doctor Bike is an Alterbike business unit in charge of providing repair and renovation services for bicycles. The unit has been evolving towards a social mission where we have been orchestrating collaboration between private, public and other non-profits, to create a model and eventually open our second workshop, where we will employ previously incarcerated men, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community.
