Our platform harnesses global satellites, advanced science and community intelligence to monitor floods in near real time around the world and remotely analyze local flood exposure at a click of a button. Our mission is to ensure that all vulnerable governments can finally access the high quality information they need to prepare and respond to increasing catastrophes. Cloud to Street is or has been used by governments in 11 countries. We are on track to enable new flood protection and insurance for 10 million people in the next 5 years.

Traditional flood and flood risk mapping requires expensive ground equipment and customized models. They are cost and time prohibitive for most governments, leaving communities without the information they need to reduce losses from catastrophes and without the capability to manage their risk.

Our product revolutionizes access to flood information by remotely mapping disasters in near real-time and by analyzing long term flood patterns at a click of a button. This new remote flood science provides risk information at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional ground equipment and modelling approaches. Our proprietary algorithms harness global satellite imagery, machine learning, and community intelligence to, firstly, dynamically scan each customer’s specified area daily to detect floods and their impact as they happen, and, secondly, analyze every satellite image of the area from the past 33+ years to determine local flood patterns, flood risk, flood alert levels and more.
