  • About Us

Gaia Passages provides long term mentoring for female-identified youth through nature-based after-school groups, summer camps, and rite of passage ceremonies combining social and emotional intelligence skills with deep nature connection. We serve youth from ages 7-14 and their mothers and caregivers in the San Francisco Bay area, and currently offer groups in the East Bay, Marin, Santa Cruz, and the Peninsula.

An explanation of what we mean when we say Girl*

In addition to cis girls (gender matches sex assigned at birth), we include in our definition of “girl” those who identify as transgender, genderqueer, and gender nonconforming who feel that Gaia Girls is a supportive home for them. In addition, all sexual orientations are welcome. Cis-Men and boys are welcome on special days when explicitly invited, but can not be participants of GGP unto themselves.
