Teach for ASEAN

Yangon, Yangon Region, Myanmar [Burma]

  • About Us

Teach for ASEAN (T4A) is a long-term social enterprise mooted by ASEAN youths to

support our fellow ASEAN youths, especially disadvantaged youths, to equip themselves

with employable skills so as to find quality jobs and livelihoods.

The team have been working on Teach for ASEAN since 2015, visiting and surveying various NGOs, communities and the job market in Myanmar, India, Cambodia and Vietnam. We found that supporting youths with employable skills and linking them up with job opportunities is a recurring challenge throughout the region. Hence, T4A was set up to address this.

While keenly aware of the need to generate income for the project to be financially sustainable, T4A is committed to the “needs-blind” ideals that no youth should be deprived of opportunities due to poverty. In May 2017, T4A launched its programmes in Yangon, Myanmar.
