Rhetorica Debate

Rhetorica Debate is committed to providing educational opportunities in debate and public speaking to students in the New York City area. Rhetorica is a new organization, but we already provide after school classes at several locations. We help empower student voices by teaching them the communication and speaking skills they need to make their ideas heard. We value the democratic ideas of discourse, debate, and using speech as a vehicle for bringing communities together. Since we are so new, we have not settled on a tax structure to pursue and don't have non-profit status yet, though we are in the process of applying.
